it is okay
i read it quick enough
but it didnt strike me at all as hard as when ellis is at his best
seemed like a kind of pulp-genre-crime fiction vibe
i was looking forward to it a good deal and now i just feel like, "blah, ok."
currently reading "the elementary particles" by michel houellbecq. i like it.

eh its not at a must read but if you like ellis alot then you might as well read it
i picked up a copy of it at a bookstore, read the back cover in disgust and placed it back on the display shelf. looked absolutely awful. i didn't care about the characters in less than zero enough to have a vague interest in what happened to any of them in the future, and i certainly have no interest in reading some smutty shit ellis writes about them because he can't get past that book.
